It's not a hostel, so a bit misleading.

Good value and a good location
Hostal Ivor is very simple with no pretensions but it is clean, in a great location and a decent sized room with a really comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and helpful

Friendly staff
The staff were very friendly. I initially had a problem with my room facing the street but they were able to accommodate a room change.
The room I had with a balcony facing the street was very loud during the weekend. To get inside the building you need to ring the bell outside each time to get back in - they don't provide a front door building key. Another guest caused a commotion at 3am on the weekend ringing the bell, trying to get in, and banging on the front door.

Good
Location is perfect and the price for a single room with bathroom is ok
I didn't like the fact that I have to ring the bell everytime I wanna come in into the building and my room was located next to reception area which was very noise anytime. The bed wasn't comfortable enough because was metal and made noise when it moves. Also there is not coffee available. I keep waking up because of the noise from reception and the bell that keep coming off
